Dr. Danladi Whitten, PT, DPT, CPT, is a proud Howard University alumnus from the class of 1998, holding a Bachelor of Health Sciences. He subsequently earned a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. Dr. Whitten spent seven years working as an outpatient orthopedic clinic contractor. In the same year, he and his partner established Progressive PT Center, a private practice clinic, and by 2007, he transitioned to a full-time, autonomous practitioner. In 2018, he obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University. Dr. Whitten specializes in outpatient orthopedics and aquatic therapy while demonstrating exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques. He has assisted countless individuals on their journey to complete recovery. As a certified strength trainer, he develops comprehensive therapeutic exercise programs for patient rehabilitation. In 2020, he received certification in dry needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. His expertise in massage therapy also provides a healing touch to his practice. Typically, patient sessions involve personalized, one-on-one treatment that addresses individual needs. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Whitten boasts over 43 years of experience as a martial artist and combative instructor and owns JTR Jujutsu International in Washington, DC.
